How do I find Dallas Theological Seminary?
We are located at 3909 Swiss Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75204. Our campus is a couple miles east of downtown Dallas.
Where do I park when I arrive on campus?
Visitor parking is available in the center of campus off of Apple Street. Just look for the Security Kiosk which is Building #5 on the Campus Map. Use the parking lot parallel to Apple Street. There are visitor spaces available in this lot clearly marked for you. If the Visitor Parking spaces are already filled, find alternative parking in one of our other parking lots and notify the Campus Police that you are a visitor. They will give you a decal to hang in your car window.
Where is the Admissions Office, once I arrive on campus?
The Admissions Office is located on the 2nd floor of the Walvoord Student Center. We are the #2 Building on the Campus Map. (Hey, you can’t always be Number one!)
I’d like to stay a night or two in Dallas while I visit the campus. Where do I stay?
Dallas has a lot of affordable hotels. We have contacted several area hotels which offer discounts to prospective DTS students. Please note that the rates on our hotel list are not guaranteed and are offered based on availability.
You may find a better hotel rate by searching the internet. A good option for finding an affordable hotel is www.hotels.com. This website usually offers a wide variety of prices for every budget.
Which airport should I use?
There are two airports in Dallas. DFW Airport is approximately 22 miles from DTS. Love Field Airport is approximately 7 miles from DTS.
How do I get from the airport to DTS and how do I get around Dallas?
You can rent a car, take a taxi, or use the SuperShuttle service.
A taxi will cost approximately $40 from DFW Airport, and $30 from Love Field Airport. The SuperShuttle service is more affordable because you ride with other travelers who are dropped off along the route. This takes more time, but is less expensive. You should book a reservation on Supershuttle at www.supershuttle.com if you plan to take them from the airport.
Most guests find that it is easier (and sometimes more affordable) to rent a car while visiting Dallas. Our campus is at least a couple miles from a reliable hotel, so it’s easier to have your own wheels to get around if you are staying overnight.
We look forward to meeting you! Please call our Admissions Office at 800-3-Dallas with any further questions you may have about visiting DTS.
