Internship Registration Steps

1. Complete your first semester of Spiritual Formation (SF 101) at either the Dallas campus or the Houston campus. For more information about the Spiritual Formation program at Dallas Seminary, please contact the Spiritual Formation and Leadership Office at 214-841-3584 or sf@dts.edu.

2. Declare a ministry track for your degree with the Registrar’s Office. The internship is “track specific,” meaning that your internship must be vocationally related to your degree and track. Please read the Seminary Catalog to discover the specific internship for your degree and track (found under “Academic Programs”). You can officially declare a ministry track and/or concentration by filling out a form at the Registrar’s Office. Email registrar@dts.edu.

3. Select an internship site and mentor based on your degree and ministry track requirements and vocational interest. The Spiritual Formation and Leadership department is happy to assist you in either locating an internship site or to evaluate your internship options. 4. Schedule an interview with an internship coordinator. You must complete a 30-minute interview with an internship coordinator to register for an internship, and your internship will only be approved when you have secured an internship site. To schedule an interview call 214-841-3779 or email internships@dts.edu. (Note: If you schedule the interview after the early registration period, you will be responsible to pay all late registration fees.)
